Watch YCTV here
YCTV is a 100% unofficial, not-for-profit channel run by a supporter purely for the enjoyment of City fans all over the world. Established in a voluntary capacity after relegation from the football league in 2004, YCTV has proven itself an invaluable asset to supporters and is the impressive result of one man's commitment to preserving the history of our football club.
With more than 1,000 videos lovingly curated, this is without doubt the most comprehensive archive of York City film footage available anywhere. Re-live your favourite moments from City's long and colourful (and occasionally black and white) history and see some classic kits in action!

After initially recording matches from a perilous position in the gantry on top of the Pop Stand, the emergence of YouTube provided an opportunity to provide wider access to YCTV footage. Thanks to YCTV's passion for finding new and innovative ways of spreading the word of York City to a wider audience, the club soon became one of the first ever to make quality, edited highlights available to supporters on a social media platform. YCTV also began producing commemorative DVDs, generating revenue in advance of six figures for York City-related projects. This was further bolstered by a short-lived but highly profitable subscription service. Both initiatives, again entirely voluntary, provided a welcome source of income at a time during which the club had no television deal in place.

Since then a huge amount of films spanning City's various highs and lows have been collected from various sources and these now form part of a vast and still growing library of film footage. Essential viewing for any City fan!
