Admiral's time as kit manufacturer came to an end this season but they certainly made sure that they went out with a bang! The previous season's excellent home kit was carried on for a second season, as was the usual procedure for the time. In fact this would be one of the last times that a kit would roll over to the next season and remain completely unaltered. With the exception of the 2006-08 kit, the club would begin releasing a new home kit every year from now on (although 2004-06, 2008-10 and 2012-14 did keep the same basic template albeit with changed sponsor's logos).

The new, all-white away kit featured the club colours of navy and red used to great effect on the sleeves of the shirt, the shorts and the socks. A third, navy blue shirt with red trim was added during the season and completes a beautiful trio of well-made kits. Each kit is made with a high-quality, light fabric and features the last time a knitted collar is featured on a City shirt. Later shirts with collars (2004-06 and 2008-10) were Nike template jerseys with collars made of the same silky material used to make the main body of the shirts 

Sponsorship

  • Portakabin enter the final year of their 10-year association with the club.
  • Admiral manufactured the kits for the sixth and final season of their second spell.
