Although the home shirt was carried over from the 2008/09 season, there were changes to the home kit. Pryers Solicitors replacemed CLP as main sponsors, but the most notable change would occur in November when the club decided to use red shorts and socks as first choice colours having started the season in navy. A statement regarding this was released towards the end of the season in which it was explained that:
"[Navy shorts and socks have] ...caused problems in two areas, the most important one of which has been a feeling amongst the football management and players that the kit has made it difficult for players to identify their team mates, particularly under floodlights. Additionally, Conference rules request that dark colours are not used as these can cause clashes with the kit worn by match officials."
A new all-sky blue away kit was introduced. Based upon the Pin Stripe Game template, the kit featured widely-spaced horizontal white pinstripes and would remain in use for the 2010/11 season.
Sponsorship
- Pryers Solicitors were main- and back of shirt sponsors for the first time.
- Nike were kit manufacturers for the seventh season.
